The Kurds are the largest stateless nation in the world. The subjugation of the Kurds is the cause of many crises and problems in the Middle East and the world.
The Kurds, like every nation, have the right to sovereignty. The Kurdish demand and struggle for independence has continued for centuries. This was most recently confirmed by the independence referendum in the KRG.
According to democratic standards and international law, the results of this referendum must be recognized. Furthermore, the division of Kurdistan must end and the Kurds must collectively determine their own destiny.
With the hope of a free and independent future, we celebrate the 8th anniversary of the Kurdistan independence referendum.
